Call for Papers for Special/Thematic Issue: “Microbiota- Gut - Brain Axis in mood and neuropsychiatric disorders. Therapeutic opportunities”

We are contacting you regarding the following Special Issue, to be published in the Current Neuropharmacology (IF 4.8)
We would like to invite you to contribute. In this special issue, https://www.eurekaselect.com/journal/26/forthcoming-thematic-issues we invite manuscript submissions (Reviews, Full-length articles, Research articles, Mini Reviews) addressing the pivotal roles of Microbiota - Gut - Brain - Axis in mood and neuropsychiatric disorders. We welcome new ideas and molecular models/mechanisms that are well written and scientifically could be supported. Please, in your possible article, outline your scientific idea/model in a quality figure.
We ask the authors to submit their possible articles on Scholar One at

under the heading of Thematic issue within 6 months (until Jan 05, 2025). Any manuscript submitted after this time may not be published within the thematic issue but as a separate general article in the journal (subject to positive peer review).
Please note that, once accepted after an independent peer-review process, your article will be published as Open Access with discounted Article Processing Charges. The authors are required to pay the concessionary APC of US$ 1,900. These Open Access articles will be published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Papers submitted for inclusion in special or thematic issues will be evaluated by the same strict criteria as regular contributed submissions. Papers will only be published if they clearly merit publication on the basis of their originality and the overall importance of results.

Probiotics, Synbiotics, Prebiotics, Fecal microbiota transplantation, Combination of THC and cannabidiol (CBD), Post-biotics (e.g. SCFAs), Bioactive natural products, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Gut-directed hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Electroacupuncture, etc.
